Glen Elgin 16 Year Old (Master of Malt) 70cl Whisky

Glen Elgin has a habit of winning people over without making much fuss and this 16-year-old single malt worked its charms on our cask-selection team, thanks to a particularly happy partnership between spirit and refill cask. Over the years, the oak and whisky have found a harmony, the sort of balance we spend a great deal of time looking for, and occasionally get a little carried away about finding. This was a release of 285 bottles at a cask strength of 57.3% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour.
