Distilled at Glen Elgin in 2008, this single malt spent the next 15 years maturing in a single cask, under the watchful eye of independent bottler Adelphi. In 2023, the time had come to open up the cask, and a total of 265 cask-strength bottles now join the Adelphi collection.
Floral malt and raisin pastries are backed by chocolate nuts, orchard blossom, and softly herbal honey.
Juicy layers of apples and plums lead to zesty notes of candied citrus while honeyed nuts and chocolate raisins are joined by a touch of pepper.
Spicy heat gathers for the finish with ginger and pepper countered by chocolate fudge sweetness.
