Glen Elgin 14 Year Old - Derestricted
This right here is a 14 year old single malt from the Glen Elgin Distillery, independently bottled as part of the Derestricted range! This indie bottling selection is all about fab whisky, and what honestly could be considered too many facts about the distillery from whence said whisky came. The labels is covered in spicy knowledge morsels like mill type, spirit still shape, wort clarity, and more! The whisky itself is packing oodles of baked goods and maple syrup notes, which just so happens to be a great flavour pairing for knowledge morsels...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Buttered apples, cinnamon rolls with lots of icing, nutty brown bread, milky tea, a subtle hint of straw.
Palate
Golden Grahams, maple syrup, peach Campino sweeties, spiced fruit buns (heavy on the nutmeg), oily hops.
Finish
Softly malty, with stone fruit and banana bread.
