Glorious 2008 vintage Glen Elgin here, which joins the Artist Collective range from La Maison du Whisky. A marriage of two casks, with a first-fill sherry butt finish, this 14-year-old Speyside single malt whisky comes in a bottle with a label featuring a painting by French artist, Yanis Khannoussi.
Rich fruit and nuts, with woody spices, and some zesty citrus peel.
Sticky figs, marmalade, cinder toffee, with dark chocolate, oak, and cinnamon spice.
Oaky spice, and some dates.
