Distilled in 2006, this Glen Elgin spent the following 13 years maturing in a single barrel. Unlucky for some, not for this single malt, which was bottled up by The Single Malts of Scotland at 56.3% ABV, with an outturn of 213 bottles full of orchard fruit and vanilla.
Lemon curd and crisp apple, with dried kitchen herbs and new oak.
Buttery shortbread, alongside spiced pear crumble and vanilla custard.
Vanilla cream and cinnamon butter lingers.
