A tasty Speysider from the Glen Elgin Distillery which was brought into existence in 2006. It spent the next 13 years in a single hogshead, until it was bottled in 2019. Alistair Walker released the whisky as part of the Infrequent Flyers series, with 249 bottles released at cask strength, 59% ABV.
Lemon and coconut cake, with some polished wood appearing alongside pear skin and marmalade.
Apple loaf cake, toffee nuts and chocolate digestives, along with some oak spice.
Heather honey and cookie dough.
