Glen Elgin 12 Years Old 2007 (Parcel No.3) - Reserve Casks (The Single Malts of Scotland)
From The Single Malts of Scotland's Reserve Casks series comes a 12 year old Glen Elgin single malt, distilled in 2007 and drawn from four hogshead casks. It was bottled up at 48% ABV, and released as the third parcel in the series in 2020.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Peaches, pears and cooked apples, with hints of buttered toast and milky coffee.
Palate
Still buttery, but now with some zesty citrus and a little caraway spiciness.
Finish
Fudge, peppercorn and lemongrass.
