Sherried single malt from the Glen Elgin Distillery, which has been bottled up by Adelphi. It was released as Batch 4 of the indie bottler's Laudale series at 12 years of age, with 1,446 bottles produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Dates and cinnamon sticks, with a touch of honey slowly building.

Palate Black Forest gateau, melted butter and grassy malt.

Finish Creamy and rich on the finish with more chocolate, fresh vanilla and some tangy citrus.

Best 12yo from 2020 for rich fruits and complex flavours
Never had a Glen Elgin before but on the recommendations of my local Whisky Shop I bought this and was amazed. If I can find other Glen Elgin releases then they’ll be straight in my basket.
The whisky has maturity and complexity beyond its 12 years and autumn fruits in abundance.
