A single cask Speysider from Berry Bros. & Rudd, distilled at Glen Elgin in 2007. The single malt was finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt for 18 months before it was bottled at a generous 58.9% ABV. A warming and spiced, subtly waxy dram that'll be more than suitable as an evening sipper.
Nose Candied orange peel, sultana sweetness and fresh red berries.
Palate Toasty wood spices appear alongside set, waxy honey, and orange marmalade (with bits, of course).
