Glen Elgin 11 Year Old, Napa Valley Chardonnay Barrique (Blind Summit) 50cl Whisky

Honeyed Glen Elgin meets Californian Chardonnay in this single-cask release from Blind Summit. Distilled in March 2015, the whisky spent ten years in a bourbon hogshead before a further year in a Napa Valley Chardonnay barrique. The finish adds almond pastry, yellow fruit and ginger to its waxy Speyside character. Bottled without chill-filtration or added colour at 56.7% ABV.
