A very popular, now discontinued blend from Glenmorangie. Bailie Nicol Jarvie is a sweet, delicate blend with Highland, Islay and Speyside whisky, blended with top quality grain whisky.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

The first Whiskey I ever enjoyed when starting out on the drinking journey. My tastes have matured since but I still remember this one. Have some stashed away for a special occasion.
In school we were at scottland and i bought it for my dad in a little shop in edinburgh, a customer told me to take these one this was in 2004 My dad turns 60 this year and it would be sooooo cool to give it to him again Fyi: we bought it several times at a hp from germany, but they also dont have it since 4 years
A couple of weeks ago I was in a whisky bar in Aberdeen and found they had half a bottle of BNJ hidden behind a row of other bottles. I bought a wee dram and it reminded me of just what a wonderful whisky this was and how much I missed it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!
I first heard of BNJ at "Whisky Galore" in Christchurch, NZ, about 15 years ago. They were out of stock. On the way home, I tried it in Australia. Fell in love with it. None was available in Canada or USA. Since then, every time I was in UK, or Australia, I enjoyed BNJ, and brought a bottle or two home. It was an exceptionally enjoyable whiskey at a reasonable price. Today I found out that it is available no more. It is a pity that the owners of Glenmorangie (Macdonald family ?) sold it to a French industrialist firm LVMH. Obviously LVMH have no pride in making a great product. Devoid of human touch? As Mr Graham Mackenzie said, it probably is the work of accountants who know the cost of everything, and the value of none. They could even be totally alien to Whisky. What a pity. Please bring it back. 16th June 2016
The most tasteful, smooth blend of whisky that was available to the world has been withdrawn, obviously by anonymous philistines who have never even tasted this nectar. Could it be that the accountants have looked at the figures and decided that the returns weren't good enough. Typical, they know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing. It's time for the return of quality!
