Bourbon
28 year old single grain from the Girvan distillery, independently bottled by WM Cadenhead for their Small Batch range. This was distilled in back 1988 and matured in bourbon oak until 2016, when it was bottled at cask strength by one of Scotland's oldest indie bottlers.
Butterscotch, jam tarts with crumbly pastry, a hint of banana.
Slowly develops hints of baking spices - clove and nutmeg, particularly. Remains filled with sweet caramel and butterscotch notes.
Lingering sweetness of brown sugar and fresh doughnuts.
