Bourbon
Deliciously creamy 27 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the Girvan distillery, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr for their Celebration of the Cask series. This was distilled in April 1989 and set aside to age in a single bourbon barrel until February 2017. 120 bottles were produced.
Victoria Sponge cake with lots of jam and cream. A hint of clove spiciness.
Flaky pastry and more clove, before layers of sweet, sugary vanilla take over the palate.
Fruity notes develop on the finish.
