Sherry
From Girvan distillery comes this well-aged single grain Scotch whisky. The Lowland whisky was distilled in 1996 and matured for 26 years, with part of that time spend in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead. It was bottled by The Red Cask Company in 2022 for its Single Cask Series, with only 235 bottles released, non-chill filtered and naturally coloured.
Some poached winter fruit, with toasted walnuts, and oaky spice.
Blackberries and redcurrants, with some cocoa nib, almond brittle, and baking spices.
Nutty, with some jammy, berry notes.
