Girvan 23 Year Old 1989 (cask 37525) - Celebration of the Cask (Càrn Mòr)
A rare single cask grain from the Girvan distillery aged for 23 years in a bourbon cask. Distilled in April 1989, only 177 bottles were bottled from cask 37525 by Carn Mor in Feb 2013 for their Celebration of the Cask range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Banana chips, vanilla and polished wood on the nose.
Palate
Nutmeg and custard tart. Rum and raisin fudge.
Finish
Well rounded and dry with slightly exotic spice.
Overall
A robust grain whisky with some real character.
