A cracking addition to The Cooper's Choice collection from indie bottler The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., hailing from the Lowland-based Girvan distillery. The single grain Scotch was distilled in 2006 and matured for over 16 years, beginning in American oak, and finishing in an oloroso sherry butt. A total of 600 bottles were released in 2023.
Honeyed granola, laced with vanilla and candied nuts, plus baking spice and syrupy stone fruits.
Juicy plums are backed by chewy toffee, maple Danish pastries, and sticky dates. Floral malt and sweet oak nestle beneath.
Caramel, nuts, marzipan, and cinnamon join cooked apples, flapjack, and ginger biscuits.
