Girvan 12yo 2007 Bottling Note

A tasty cask-finished 2007 vintage Girvan single grain. Distilled in 2007, the grain whisky was aged in an bourbon cask for most of its years, and finished in first fill Madeira barrique. At 12 years old, Murray McDavid bottled it up for the Select Grain series, in a limited release of 8,391 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Some tinned, syrupy pineapple, coconut cream and caramel, with a hint of milk chocolate praline.

Palate: A good drizzle of honey, lemon curd and more caramel, alongside green oak.

Finish: More caramel returns, with biscuity notes and barley sugar.
