A single grain whisky from the Girvan grain distillery, distilled in 1964 and a rather rare release.
Nose: Vanilla and hazel nuts followed by green apple and supple oak notes.
Palate: Raisins and mounds of vanilla followed by cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
Finish: Long with notes of almonds, mixed spice and orangey bourbon.
Overall: A fabulous whisky from William Grant's Girvan distillery.
