Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla and hazel nuts followed by green apple and supple oak notes.

Palate: Raisins and mounds of vanilla followed by cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.

Finish: Long with notes of almonds, mixed spice and orangey bourbon.

Overall: A fabulous whisky from William Grant's Girvan distillery.

So have I - but I am at the same age as the bottle, meaning 50 in 2 years, then I will try it (or maybe I´ll wait for our 75 year anniversary!)
