Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Big notes of maple and treacle leading to that spicy peppery Stagg quality with a generous dose of rye!

Palate: The palate is dominated by fresh ground coffee beans and candied citrus peel with a wave of vanilla rushing over it. The texture is simply huge, big beefy Bourbon through-and-through.

Finish: A joyous tango of sweet and spicy notes with mixed spice refusing to move for hours.

Overall: Yep everyone raves about this stuff, but we can see why. Amazing stuff!

George T. Stagg Bourbon (2012 Release) Reviews

Doesn't get any better.

The title says it all. Definately my favorite Bourbon ever.

Wow

A magnificent, in-your-facce bourbon with a ton of flavor, body and a huge finish. The notes by the Master Of Malt chaps are on target. A teaspoon of water in the dram works for me and it is heavenly. I managed to get a bottle for under a 100 bucks and will buy several of the 2013 when it comes out. This along with the various Parker Heritage expressions are my favorite high end bourbons.
