Gelston's 15 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish
Another flavoursome Irish whiskey from Gelston's! This is the 15 Year Old, which spent its initial maturation in ex-bourbon casks before it was transferred to ex-Oloroso sherry hogsheads for a final two year finishing period. A good dose of tropical creaminess to enjoy alongside the drier, spicier notes from the cask finish.

Nose
Papaya, mint chocolate, and jam on toast.
Palate
Caramelised pineapple and citrus curd, with toasted oak, and baking spice.
Finish
Fried (and burnt) banana, alongside brown sugar and apples.
