A limited edition release of Four Roses' annual Barrel Strength edition, 2023 sees the brand celebrate its 135th anniversary! Four Roses uses a selection of signature mash bills to create its bourbon, and this expression combines three of them; OBSV, imparting notes of delicate fruit and rye, OESV, favoured for fruit and caramel character, and OESK for an element of baking spice.
Aromas of allspice, vanilla, and elegant oak mingle with a hint of cinnamon and clove on the nose. Rich layers of honey, vanilla, and rye spice are balanced with the flavors of ripe berries and pear that unfold and dissolve into a long mellow finish.
