Four Roses fans, feast your eyes on the Small Batch Barrel Strength 2021 release! These annual bottlings from Four Roses are always hotly anticipated and warmly received, because they're generally excellent. The 2021 bourbon combines four of the Four Roses recipes, namely OBSV, OESV, OESK, and OBSQ, and has been bottled up at 57.1% ABV. Expect waves of bold fruit and toasty spices, with a intriguing smidge of floral brightness wafting through the core.
Nose: Buttery corn, ripe peaches and red apples, vanilla blossom and violet, mature oak.
Palate: Caramelised nuts, cinnamon, waxy orange peels, red berries, hints of cedar.
Finish: Drying dark chocolate and nutmeg, balanced by runny caramel.
