A brand that dates back to the late 19 century. This Yellow Label bottling of Four Roses was released for the European and Japanese markets and is made up of whiskeys aged between 5 and 6 years of age.
Sweet, creamy aromas. Hints of Seville orange marmalade and lemon zest. A hint of corn sweetness and caramel.
Balanced, rich palate entry with marmalade and acacia honey. Cinnamon, lemon and oak.
Oaky, spiced finish.

Four Rose's yellow label is my go to bottle. If I feel like splurging I go to small batch. I think it is the best of bourbons. Have not had pappy but I'm good with four roses
Amazing bourbon. Very easy to drink and also makes a perfect cocktail. SO far my fave bourbon within that price.
For the price, this may be the best bourbon. It has a mellow oak character, the initial draw is woody, but has a sweeter finish that I can’t lock down, but honey and apples come to mind. The price point puts in the realm of some well whiskeys, but is so much more.
Go ahead and buy some Really Expensive Bourbon and do a blind tasting against 4R. The Really Expensive one might win, but it’s really expensive. This is a terrific every day choice.
Ok, so I bought a fifth on payday . I was disappointed , sadly. Not worth the $22 I paid for it . Nose, taste, finish all a let down
