    For Peat's Sake

Oh, For Peat's Sake! It's here! This is a particularly peaty blended Scotch whisky from the Angus Dundee team, perfect for everyone who loves smoky yet still approachable expressions. Ought to do well sipped neat, and we think it'd pair rather handsomely with a good quality cola, too...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Brown sugar with a touch of toastiness to it, followed by some cherry drop and peach. A slow build of earthiness.

    Palate

Peat jumps out on the palate, smoky and softly spicy. Caramel and grassy malt, with more candied fruit later on.

    Finish

Quite short, with citrus peels and a final waft of smoke.

    Good, affordable scotch whiskey

A really good whiskey for how affordable it is. Really smokey for those who like that (I'm certainly one of them). Absolutely worth trying if you like smokey whiskeys.

    Great smokey flavour.

Whisky experts will probably hate me, but this is one of my favorites. If you want a whisky, this isn't it, but I really to like the smokey flavour (UK spelling), which is unusual for me, since I don't like it any place else. For a great tasting whisky with multiple flavours, you probably aren't finding it here, but give it a try, you might love the smoke.
