Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve #5
The fifth batch of Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve from the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery was released toward the end of 2024. The English single malt showcases the distillery's house style, bolstered by two varieties of sherry cask maturation, moscatel for bright, creamy notes, and Pedro Ximénez for rich layers of dried fruit and spice. Created as an ideal winter warmer, its decadent character ought to shine all year 'round, we reckon.

Nose
Zesty notes of dried orange and cranberry, stewed orchard fruits, baking spice, and toffee.
Palate
Spiced apple, chocolate-dipped orange, treacle toffee, and fruit crumble.
Finish
Warming layers of wintery spice, dark chocolate, and festive biscuits.
