Description

This right here is the second release of the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery's Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve, which has been allowed to age entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. As a result, this expression is packing plenty of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and tangy citrus notes, and it really is quite a treat indeed. 2,000 bottles were produced.

Nose

Chocolate cake, sweet popcorn, strawberry liquorice, anise.

Palate

Crushed cinnamon and nutmeg, blackberry, cooked peach, honeycomb.

Finish

Lasting dried fruit sweetness, with more nutmeg on the way.
