From Yorkshire-based distillery, Filey Bay, comes Batch #1 of its Port Finish whisky. This single malt started its journey in bourbon casks before finishing in ruby Port casks, giving plenty of fresh red fruit notes to the English whisky. An outturn of 3,330 bottles, at 46% ABV.
Raspberry liquorice, fresh cherries, and oaky spice.
Oaky vanilla, with Black Forest gateaux, redcurrants, and warm cinnamon.
Some jammy red fruit lingers, with spices building.
