Fielden is a rye whisky produced at the Oxford Artisan Distillery using heritage grains that are grown without any synthetic chemicals. The company has now rebranded as Fielden and production has moved up to Yorkshire.
Flowers and fruit, like the wild berries that grow in our hedgerows.
Flaky pastry with caramel and hazelnut, and freshly baked bread.
The freshness of the grain and minty, peppercorn spice.

Quite a raw spirit taste. Not nearly as smooth as I'd like.
Lovely whisky. Smooth and fills your mouth with flavour that unravels and pleasantly lingers. A fine addition to their Easy Rider (previously branded the Oxford Artisan Distillery).
This a very good whisky. As the label says- it is full of flavour that really fills you mouth. It's smoothly finished and pleasantly lingers afterwards. I have a bottle of their old branded whisky- The Oxford Artisan Distillery: Easy Rider which is also very good. The only criticism I have is the bottle itself- it pours terribly and spills if not handled carefully, and for someone who only likes just a single measure, this will be a problem if they don't change it and has cost them half a star.
