From the Fettercairn distillery at the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains comes the Fettercairn Fasque, which is named after a country estate that is also rather close to the distillery. It's an unpeated expression from the Highland distillery.
Baking spices, dried fruits, poached pears and a good whiff of oak.
Toffee pennies, oak spice and vanilla. Subtle mocha notes along the way.
Medium, with raisins and sultanas reappearing.
Really quite nice.

Garbage , not worth a try at any price . Glad I got this as a gift and didn't pay for it .
I enjoyed it, nice smooth taste, I also enjoy the Fettercairn Fior. I know it well as I grew up in the Vilage of Fettercairn.
I do love a good whisky, and the Fasque I found very enjoyable to my palate. I normally stick to "The Macallan", I was born and bred only 15 miles from Fettercairn, passed by the Distillery thousands of times, and only recently do I appreciate something I've missed for 70 years!!
Too strong. Colour says it all. Not enjoying it at all after 3 attempts.
An absolutely beautiful malt. Smooth chocolaty and wonderfully settling on the palate. WELL DONE. My first taste and I will try again.
