Fettercairn 8 Year Old 2009 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
Single malt from the Fettercairn distillery in the Highland region, aged in a pair of hogshead for 8 years. This was distilled in 2009 and left to mature until 2017, when Càrn Mòr came along and bottled the whisky for their Strictly Limited range. 770 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Citrusy hops, dried cedar and sugared almonds.
Palate
Oily malt and fresh raspberries. A hint of milk chocolate develops on the mid-palate.
Finish
Sharp green apple and lime notes.
