Extraordinarily well-matured single malt from Fettercairn here, which has slumbered for a massive 46 years! It was distilled all the way back in 1973 and matured in American white oak bourbon barrels for many moons. It was eventually moved over to tawny Port pipes for a finishing period, before eventually being bottled up at 42.5% ABV. Not often you see a whisky with an age statement higher than its ABV...
