An indie bottling of fantastic Fettercairn single malt, drawn from a single hogshead cask. The whisky itself was distilled in December 1988 and bottled 29 years later in January 2018 by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. Just 276 bottles were produced - so grab one before they're all gone!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Mahogany and beeswax. Barley sugar, fennel seed, lemon.
Palate
Thick caramel and a crack of black pepper as it opens. Juicy notes of poached pear and fresh pineapple develop.
Finish
Cigar box mustiness balanced by ripe fig and nectarine.
