We've bottled up a 21 year old Fettercairn single malt for our very own Single Cask Series! It was distilled in September 1996 and allowed to age until March 2018, when we bottled it at cask strength without chill filtration or additional colours.
Richly fruity at first with apple and orange, though a hint of candle wax develops underneath.
Ripe plum, aniseed, rye crackers and melted butter on crumpets.
Star anise and rum-raisin ice cream.

A pleasant, quite sweet-tasting cask strength whisky, with character. Very drinkable. One of my partner's absolute favourites.
