Fantastic Fettercairn, bottled by Douglas Laing! This was distilled in November 1995, aged in a single cask for 20 years then bottled in February 2016 with an outturn of 281 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple and pears, oranges and lemons. Oak spices develops after a few minutes in the glass.
Palate
Not quite as fruity as the nose, with most focus on the bourbon-y vanilla notes this time.
Finish
Toffee and a touch of citrus peels.
