One of four new Fettercairn expressions to be launched in August 2018, the Fettercairn 12 Year Old was intended to embody the distillery’s floral and exotic fruit-driven character. It was matured in American oak bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV.
Refreshing nectarine, white flowers and milk chocolate emerge initially. Black toffee and subtle roasted coffee provide darker notes underneath,
Tropical fruit and sticky Jamaican ginger cake add a sweet and spicy depth which a flicker of bitter herbs and vanilla complement.
Orchard fruits and soft spices linger.

For me the it reminds me of kendal mint cake. This flavour is way too overpowering. I am so disappointed because there are so much better options out there. Will probably never touch Fettercairn again.
A refreshing single malt. Light fruit flavours with a spiced ginger tongue. Reminiscent of an irish malt except for the faintest of smoke that paves the way for the the spicy finish. Quite drinky.
Very nice scotch
My. Favorite whisky! Just bought 10 bottles!!
I’m no expert, but I have tasted a fair few different malts , Fettercairn 12yr old is by far my favourite, so smooth and tasty , I’ve tried purchasing different malts when out shopping just for a change? but if it’s on the shelf it’s my go to dram if I have a choice every time ?
