A fantastic Fettercairn here, independently bottled by Rest & Be Thankful! This one was distilled back in September 2007 and allowed to slumber for 12 years in a bourbon cask until February 2020, when it was bottled up at cask strength. Just 316 bottles of this Highlander were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Bright and fruity with apple, strawberry and apricot, balanced by nutty bread and a touch of salinity.
Palate
Vanilla fudge, orange segments, a crackle of black pepper.
Finish
Very subtly herbaceous on the finish.
