A now discontinued Fettercairn bottling, 1824 is a sweet, waxy honeyed whisky, very expressive for a 12 year old.

Aromatic, oily, beeswax, honey. Walnut and hazelnut. Barley.
Medium, oily, nutty. Spicy. Sweet honey. Crystallized stem ginger. Malty.
Medium. Winter spice. Cinnamon, ground ginger, walnut. Oak.

This was my favorite whisky, Why did you ever stop making it. It was the best in my view. The rating should be zero now, as it is no longer for sale. Now got to find another whisky to suit my palette. regards Bill Shepherd
