Behold, an 18 year old Irish single malt whiskey from the Fercullen range! This expression spent its maturation in ex-bourbon barrels, taking on a wealth of vanilla-rich notes. Ought to make for a fantastic post-dinner sip.
Nose: Layers of caramel and honey, punctuated by flashes of cinnamon, dark chocolate and mint.
Palate: Toffee Crisp bars, melted butter, gingerbread and nutty malt.
Finish: A touch of orange zest develops on the finsh.
