Fercullen 18yo Elements Bottling Note

A limited edition addition to the Fercullen range, dubbed Five Elements! The Irish single malt was initially matured in American white oak bourbon casks for 16 years, before being transferred to a trio of casks for a finishing period – ruby Port, rum, European oak red wine casks. As you'd expect, this is mega complex, with just 1,500 bottles released.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Banana and dried mango, with orange sweeties, ripe pear, red stone fruit, and spiced fruit cake.

Palate: A medley of tropical and orchard fruit, with sweet grist, oily malt, and chocolate-coated raisin, with a dry vinous note.

Finish: Drying wood spices and caramelised pineapple.
