Reviews for Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky 1l
Oxidation
I find this whisky benefits from Oxidation more than any I know. It is much improved, if you buy a bottle, and empty half into an empty bottle. Leave for 2 or 3 weeks. A good blended whisky turns into a top notch dram. Try it. It works for me.

A solid staple
A solid blend that goes down smooth whether you're a smoke hound solidly planted in Islay (guilty) or would rather be sipping a non-offensive Speyside or Highlander. For the price, it's hard to beat and it's a solid addition to any shelf of whisky, particularly if you're just dipping your toes into Scottish offerings.

Famous for a reason
Always an easy choice for either a mix or straight. My favourite blend.

Tremendous value
I am actually drinking this as I write; on it’s own, over ice.
It is a warm evening. The sun is low in the sky. I am in England.
I paid less than £20 for a litre bottle.
I am 66 years old
If there is better value to be had, anywhere, I have not experienced it.

Iniquitous
This is/isn't one of the least iniquitous whiskys that I have not ever not tried.

Definitely my favourite
Excellent, tried most blended whiskies, Grouse is my favourite, lovely smooth consistent. Preferred to Johnnie Walker, Bells and Teachers.

Enjoyed from the first time...
The first time I had this dram was about 45 years ago.
Still love the consistency.

Quite enjoyable on the rocks or with a dash of soda
Compared to other blended Whisky's, I find The Famous Grouse smooth, aromatic, mellow and very likable. Well recommend this delicious Blend.

Not good
Bought from Tescos as was on special offer. Something not at all right here, a background taste like burnt rubber. Most shop's own value brand whisky's are far superior to this.

Excellent whiskey, my favorite!
For something in particular is the best-selling whiskey in Scotland. I Like.
