Excalibur 45 Year Old 1972 70cl Whisky

Meadowside Blending is responsible for this rather brilliant blend, and it must have though it was pretty legendary too, having named it Excalibur! The 1972 vintage is a marriage of grain whisky and malt whisky, including Glenrothes and Tamdhu, as well as the now-silent Lochside which closed its doors in 2005. It was eventually bottled at 45 years old in 2017 at cask strength, with 1,200 bottles released at 42.2% ABV.
