A 2015 vintage Kentucky straight bourbon from Evan Williams, matured in a single American oak barrel until bottling in 2024. The generous maturation results in a rich, complex sipper, laden with vanilla fudge, peanut brittle, drying oak, and gentle spice. Superb bang for buck, too!
Bright toffee and vanilla at first, with hints of toasted oak, caramel corn, and a subtle whiff of cinnamon and tobacco.
Brown sugar, vanilla fudge, and peanut brittle, followed by baking spice, clove, and a little orange peel brightness.
Gently warming and pleasantly dry, with oak spice, caramel, and roasted nuts leaving a tidy impression.
