A Kentucky bourbon classic, Evan Williams Single Barrel is aged in a single oak cask and bottled with the vintage and barrel number proudly displayed. This 2015 vintage was bottled in 2023, meaning a solid eight years of ageing in charred American oak. That extra maturity adds richness and complexity to a well-priced sipper that doesn’t shout but certainly speaks with style.
Bright toffee and vanilla at first, with hints of toasted oak, caramel corn, and a subtle whiff of cinnamon and tobacco.
Brown sugar, vanilla fudge, and peanut brittle, followed by baking spice, clove, and a little orange peel brightness.
Gently warming and pleasantly dry, with oak spice, caramel, and roasted nuts leaving a tidy impression.
