Fireside - Elements of Islay 70cl Whisky

The second Fèis Ìle exclusive from Elements of Islay, following Beach Bonfire in 2023. For 2024, the head blender was inspired by the idea of sipping a smoky dram, fireside with friends, after being caught in an Islay downpour. Which will be a familiar sensation for many who have attended the festival over the years. Fireside is a blended malt of Scotch from two distilleries on Islay’s north coast, matured in heavily re-charred hogsheads, American oak oloroso sherry hogsheads, and European oak oloroso sherry butts. It was bottled at a big 54.5% ABV and you can expect notes of rich red fruit, candied orange, and bonfire smoke.
