Description

This set will make a cracking gift for a fan of peaty, smoky Islay whisky. It includes a full-sized bottle of Cask Edit, a blended malt Islay Scotch whisky from Elements of Islay, accompanied by a rather smart insulated flask for storing both hot and cold drinks, ready to be enjoyed in all elements. Try a smoky Hot Toddy on colder days, or brew up some Islay Iced Tea when the sun is shining!

Nose

Charred oak and candied nuts, with heaps of fresh orchard fruits, are followed by soft praline and creamy vanilla. Delicate peat smoke floats seamlessly throughout.

Palate

Woody caramel opens the way for fresh almond croissants and robust roasted coffee beans. A dusting of pebbly petrichor mingles with earthen vanilla and distant bonfire smoke.

Finish

Things remain fresh and fruity towards the end, with elegant smoke and sweet spice lingering.
