White Oak Akashi Meïsei Reviews

Friendly with a slight spike.
This has become one of my go-to blends of late. I've now enjoyed 3 bottles of it and every single one has been well worth the price.

Warm and rounded palate, with hits of Sandalwood/Pepper on the tongue.

Smooth and easy-to-drink blend.
One of the cheaper options for Japanese whisky, but well worth it. A lovely, smooth, slightly sweet, slightly fruity whisky with a warming finish.

Pleasant, soft tasting blend at bargain price.
A rather pleasant blend with a rounded vanilla taste (and only a very light petroleum sting). I picked it up for $18 (worth a try!) in Taipei Airport and was quite impressed at the price.
