Sherry
Peated single malt whisky from Edradour distillery matured in Manzanilla Sherry casks and bottled at 56.1%! Just 636 bottles were produced. Manzanilla matured whiskies can divide opinion, but we love 'em!
Rich, oily and fruity, saline, menthol, orange blossom, not overtly smoky although some does develop. Impressive.
Everything above has been chucked on the embers of a barbecue, still rich, damp pebbles, green olive, vermouth.
Cereal, lingering smoke, nutmeg and a little pickle juice.
