A delightful release from Edradour, finished in Barolo wine casks! Drawn from two casks, distilled in August 1999, matured for 21 years until bottling in April 2021, with an outturn of 582 bottles. Plenty of aged oak and fruity wine presence here – glorious!
Toffee apples, orange sorbet, vanilla, baking spice, and a touch of chalk.
Sharp berry jam on toasted rye bread, salted caramel, pear tart, and black pepper.
Chocolate raisins and maple granola, with lingering dry oak, vanilla, and fruity spice.
