16 year old single malt from the Edradour distillery, finished in casks that previously held Barolo wine. The three casks used for this bottling were filled in November 2000 and bottled in February 2017 after spending 42 months in the aforementioned wine casks. 894 bottles were produced.
Nose: Vanilla and raspberry ice-cream, plums and toasted rye bread.
Palate: Black pepper and coarse sea salt, poached pear, stewed berries.
Finish: Dried fruit, Fruit Salad sweeties and chocolate.
