“Now I like this whiskey for every reason that the previous reviewer disliked it. Rich, full bodied, thick and creamy all the attributes that to me are found in a top quality whisky! I enjoy a Grouse or Bells while watching TV, however, if I want a drink to savour it has to be Glen Farclas, Highland Park and now Edradour. Which in conclusion it's all down to individual taste. Reviews for Edradour 14 Year Old 2000 (cask 3143) Natural Cask Strength - Ibisco Decanter

    Smell and Flavour are brilliant

I'm almost offended someone would mix this with a cheaper Scotch. This is a very unqiue Scotch from this distillery. Best with a drop of water to release all the smells. I'd say this is the best scotch Edradour has out at the moment but this distillery never surprises or disappoints me.

    It's a NO from me

OK: You pay extra for the heavy glass bottle (which is nothing special) - surely it's the contents that matter? The Whisky is massively over sherried, yet smells of rum! Taste is full-on christmas cake + spices. This is whisky taken to an extreme regarding barrel influence, so that it barely resembles a classic malt. In the end I used it to blend with some cheaper whisky to add a bit of oomph. Not one I would buy again.
